Hannah + Andrew got married out in the mountains outside of Ouray, Colorado on a beautiful July evening.
These two are truly incredible. Andrew was first drawn to Hannah after seeing that “complete a 100 mile race” was on her bucket list, and that pretty much sums up how adventurous these two are. They summit 14ers side by side, complete ultras together, and encourage each other to pursue their wildest dreams. Their first date consisted of meeting at 3 am to hike, and ever since then they have been each other’s adventure buddy.
This gorgeous spot was easily the most secluded place I’ve ever photographed- we didn’t see anyone else for over 3 hours!! the seclusion provided this incredibly intimate and peaceful environment for their elopement, and there was a tangible sense of serenity the entire evening.
Hannah said it best in her vows to Andrew: “the best adventure is getting to spend every day with you.”
Hannah + Andrew got ready in the sweet mountain town of Ouray with their parents and siblings.
We then headed to a nearby overlook for a quick + sweet first look before hopping in the jeep and heading to the mountains!!
After a beautiful hike we stopped at a glacial lake so they could exchange vows. It was one of the most serene and incredible ceremony spots I’ve ever seen!
We had so much fun during their portrait time. We had the entire area completely to ourselves (perks of hiking on your elopement day!) and took our time exploring and really enjoying the view.
Their friends and family wrote them letters to read during their elopement – such a thoughtful and personal touch to the day!
I feel beyond grateful to have captured such an incredible day in such a beautiful place.
H + A chose to keep their full elopement film private to protect the sacredness of the vows they exchanged – but here is a small glimpse at the footage we captured!
